Terms of Service
These terms cover the CalorieEarn website and the CalorieEarn app. By using them, you agree to them.
About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and CalorieEarn LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, USA (“CalorieEarn”, “we”, “us”), which runs the CalorieEarn website and the CalorieEarn app. “You” means the person using them. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the site or the app.
Eligibility
- If you are under 18, use CalorieEarn with a parent or guardian’s permission. Under 18 gets the food journal only, with no reward campaigns.
- CalorieEarn will only be offered in countries where we can lawfully do so.
- You are responsible for making sure that using CalorieEarn is legal where you live.
Rewards
Rewards recognise participation. You are rewarded for consistent logging and daily check-ins, under each campaign’s published rules. You are not rewarded for eating less, losing weight or hitting an exact calorie number.
- No purchase, deposit or trading is required.
- Campaigns need an account. Logging does not.
- Each campaign publishes its daily amount, weekly bonus, dates and eligibility before you join.
- $CalorieEarn rewards are not guaranteed cash earnings, and their value can change.
Nutrition information
CalorieEarn is a food diary. Photo estimates can be wrong, especially oils, sauces and portion sizes. Nothing in the site or the app is medical advice.
Fair use
Please do not:
- use scripts, bots or multiple accounts to take part in reward campaigns;
- tamper with the app;
- probe, overload or disrupt the site or its services;
- scrape, copy or resell our content or data.
We may remove any account from reward campaigns that we reasonably believe is automated, duplicated or abusive.
Our content and brand
The CalorieEarn name, the CalorieEarn logo, the site and the app, and the text, design and code in them, belong to us or to our licensors. You may not copy, adapt or reuse them except as the law allows, or as we have agreed in writing. Writing about CalorieEarn, linking to us, or quoting us fairly is welcome. Press requests go through Contact.
Disclaimers and liability
The site and the app are provided as they are. We do not promise that they will be uninterrupted, error free, or available at any particular time, and we may change or withdraw any part of them.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Some countries give you rights that cannot be excluded. Nothing here affects those rights.
Ending your use
You can stop using the site and the app whenever you like. We may suspend or end your use if you break these terms, or if we stop offering the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as CalorieEarn develops, and we will change the date at the top when we do. If a change materially affects you, we will say so on this site before it takes effect, where we reasonably can. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and the courts of the State of Wyoming have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you live somewhere whose law entitles you to bring a claim locally, this does not take that right away.
