Cookie Policy
The CalorieEarn website does not use cookies. This page explains what that means, what we do record instead, and what would have to change before that stopped being true.
We set none
This website stores nothing in your browser. No cookies, no local storage, no session storage, no pixels, no fingerprinting, no analytics and no advertising scripts. Close the tab and there is no trace of you on your device.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep, and to send back on later visits. Cookies are how most sites remember a login, a basket, a preference, or who you are across different sites for advertising. Some are strictly necessary for a site to function, and the rest normally require your consent.
Why there is no banner
Consent banners exist because sites place cookies that need your permission. We place none, so there is nothing to ask you about and nothing for you to dismiss. We would rather not interrupt you to ask for consent we do not need.
What we record instead
Our host keeps ordinary server logs for a short period, as every web host does, to keep the service running and secure.
Third parties
The only third party code on this site is two open source libraries loaded from jsDelivr: Lenis, for smooth scrolling, and three.js, for the 3D phone. Neither sets cookies. We do not embed social media widgets, videos, maps, chat boxes or comment systems, which are the usual sources of third party cookies.
Fonts and assets
The typefaces used here, DM Sans and Inter, are served by Google Fonts, so when the page loads your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address as part of that request. Google Fonts does not set cookies. Images, styles and the 3D model are served from our own domain. The browser may cache those files, which is ordinary caching and not a cookie: it stores the file, not anything about you.
If this changes
If this site ever needs strictly necessary cookies, for example to keep you signed in, this page will say so before it takes effect, and anything beyond what is strictly necessary will ask for your consent first.
