Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data the CalorieEarn website collects, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.
The short version
We do not sell your data, we do not share it for advertising, this site sets no cookies, and it runs no analytics or tracking scripts. Ask us and we will delete what we hold about you.
Who we are
CalorieEarn LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, USA, runs the CalorieEarn website. For data protection purposes we are the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at support.calorieearn@gmail.com.
What we collect
We do not collect your name, your location, your device identifiers or any payment details on this website. We have no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third party trackers, and we do not buy personal data from anyone.
If you email us, we hold that correspondence so we can answer you. When the page loads, Google Fonts and jsDelivr receive your IP address, as any site you download files from does. Neither sets cookies.
Why we use it
- To protect the site from abuse and keep it running.
- To answer you if you write to us.
We do not use your data to profile you, to advertise to you, or to make automated decisions about you.
Our legal basis
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies to you, we rely on our legitimate interests in keeping the service secure and free of abuse, and in answering you when you write to us.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade your data, and we share it only with the service providers that make the site work, acting on our instructions:
| Provider | What they do |
|---|---|
| Vercel Inc. | Hosts the website |
| Google (Gmail) | Hosts the inbox you reach when you email us |
| Google (Google Fonts) | Serves the site’s typefaces |
| jsDelivr | Serves the open source libraries Lenis (smooth scrolling) and three.js (the 3D phone) |
We would also disclose data if the law required it, to protect our legal rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case we would tell you first.
Where it is stored
Our providers store data on servers in the United States. If you are in the UK, the EEA or another region with transfer rules, your data is therefore transferred to the USA, and our providers rely on mechanisms such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses to cover that transfer. You can ask us for details.
How long we keep it
- Email correspondence: kept while it is useful to answer you and for a reasonable period afterwards.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- confirm what we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct it if it is wrong;
- delete it;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- port it to someone else.
If you are in California, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in the CCPA, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Write to support.calorieearn@gmail.com and we will act on it. We aim to reply within two business days, and in any case within one month.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. No system is perfect, and we do not claim otherwise. If you believe you have found a vulnerability, please tell us through Contact.
Children
CalorieEarn can be used by people under 18 with a parent or guardian’s permission. This website collects no personal data from anyone, children included. If you believe a child has emailed us, tell us and we will delete that correspondence.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. The full explanation is in the Cookie Policy.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top.
